Start seeing stars… December 23, 2007
Stars have always been a favorite shape of mine. I even have a tattoo of one! Nice to know I am so en vogue as stars are popping up all over the fashion sky. Stars were used as both accenting accessories and major graphic backdrops at Yves St. Laurent. Chanel took a very literal take on Americana with stars and stripes. The last few years, the clothing Chanel has put out has been out of this world but I have to say, YSL’s use of stars are stronger. The placement and overall usage of the stars are crisp and refreshing.
